Volunteers are the core of our group. Since August 2021, we have helped 300 families move into their homes. Your help supports families acclimate to their new communities.

Tutoring- Winter 2023
Northern Virginia Resettling Afghan Families Together and the Fresh Start Refugee Assistance Center will be offering an academic enrichment and tutoring program for youth in the Alex West neighborhood during the 2023-2024 school year. Tutoring is offered one on one and in small groups. The program will also include English conversation practice. Dari and Pashto translators will be available to translate for students who need assistance. Tutoring will be held at the William Ramsay Recreation Center Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturdays.
